Americana, Level Homes, and Lane Regional Medical Center welcome you to the annual Code Red Chili Cook-Off, a day full of fun, family, and food on Saturday, September 24, 2016 in Zachary, LA! Everyone will have a blast spending their day eating delicious food, playing games, and listening to great live music.
From 10AM- 4PM you can eat the best chili and salsa in the state of Louisiana! A full array of delectable dishes have been prepared by contestants in the chili and salsa cook-off. A ten dollar pass lets you taste it all! After delighting your taste buds with spicy salsa and savory chili, cool down with an ice cold craft beer. A $25 entry fee gets your team into the cook-off. Based on your head cook’s age at the time of the cook off, your team will compete in the youth (if the cook is under 18) or adult brackets.
Amazing chili isn’t the only great thing about the Code Red Chili Cook-Off. This great community event has competitive games, a cake walk, and face painting! Your entire family will love listening to The Grillis Silo play live on the grassy lawn of The Pointe at Americana, so bust out your lawn chairs and picnic blankest for a great time.
The proceeds of the Code Red Chili Cook-Off benefit the Lane Regional Medical Center Foundation, a nonprofit devoted to providing the best quality medical care to everyone who enters their doors. This foundation is dependent on events like our chili cook-off to continue to operate. Come on over to enjoy free fun, fantastic food, and support an amazing cause!
