Get outside and enjoy yourself! A popular attraction for Zachary residents is the City-operated Zachary Youth Park Complex, offering programs year around for youth and adults of all ages. Two new BREC Parks, Zachary Community Park and the new Flanacher Road Soccer Park, all provide additional recreational facilities and offer a year-long schedule of activities and events.
Zachary hosts a variety of community events throughout the year. Every Saturday morning, the Zachary Farmers' Market is held, which hosts farmers, artists and craftspeople from all areas of Zachary to sell their goods. It's a great opportunity to support your town residents as well as purchase some of the freshest produce and highest quality art around. In addition, the city hosts Z-fest, or the Zachary Arts & Music Festival, every year, which draws in large crowds to enjoy days of music, art, food and fun in the area.
